Margono-Ismawan & Co. Indonesia Law Firm is inviting law students with a strong interest in legal practice to join our team as a Legal Intern. This position offers hands-on experience in handling various legal matters, both litigation and non-litigation, as well as the opportunity to learn directly from experienced advocates and legal consultants.
This internship program is designed to develop legal analytical skills, legal drafting abilities, legal research competencies, and a comprehensive understanding of professional practice within a law firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal issues.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including agreements, legal opinions, and corporate documents.
- Assist in preparing documents for litigation and non-litigation matters.
- Support the team in due diligence processes and preparation of legal reports.
- Maintain proper administration and systematic filing of legal documents.
Qualifications
- Active law student (minimum 5th semester) or fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Strong interest in Law, particularly Civil Law, Business Law, or Litigation.
- Basic understanding of legal drafting and legal research.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and possessing strong analytical skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
