Tengku Zafran Naufal Affandi, S.H., graduated from the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Indonesia, majoring in Criminal Law. He is interested in litigation and law enforcement, with a focus on criminal law and criminal procedure. Zafran is equipped with legal analysis, case document preparation, and professional communication skills that support the effective implementation of legal duties.

 

Professional Background

Zafran gained practical experience through an internship at the Yogyakarta Special Region High Prosecutor’s Office, where he was involved in preparing criminal case files, observing trial proceedings, and analyzing case handling from the investigation to prosecution stages. He also gained field observation experience during the examination of witnesses in alleged corruption cases with officers from the Riau Regional Police, which enriched his understanding of investigative practices and the application of professional ethics in law enforcement.

Beyond academic and practical activities, Zafran is active in the Islamic Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam) of the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Indonesia, particularly in the Higher Education and Network Unit (PTJ), where he is involved in the study of strategic legal issues and strengthening the organization’s network. Zafran is known as a disciplined, meticulous individual who is highly committed to integrity and continuous professional development in the legal field.
