Jakarta, February 2026 – Margono–Ismawan & Co Indonesia Law Firm (MICO Indonesia Law Firm) is acting as legal counsel to PT. Grand Best Indonesia (PT GBI) in filing a Petition for Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) against Erspo before the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta.
The PKPU petition was filed in relation to outstanding receivables exceeding IDR 2 billion, which have been due since 2025, arising from the production and delivery of the official Indonesian National Team jerseys. Several attempts to resolve the matter amicably through deliberation and mediation were undertaken, including acknowledgment of the debt and a proposed repayment plan; however, such commitments were not fulfilled. As a measure to protect the creditor’s rights and to obtain legal certainty, MICO has pursued the PKPU mechanism in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations. The first hearing was held on 19 February 2026 at the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta and will proceed in accordance with the court’s schedule.
PT. Grand Best Indonesia (PT GBI) is a company engaged in the production and distribution of apparel, including sports jerseys and related textile products. In the matter currently drawing public attention, PT GBI acted as the manufacturer responsible for producing and delivering the official Indonesian National Team jerseys pursuant to a commercial cooperation agreement with Erspo. Under the contractual relationship, PT GBI has fulfilled its obligations in accordance with the agreement, while Erspo’s payment obligations remain outstanding beyond the due date. The case is currently under court proceedings and will continue according to the agenda determined by the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta.
